Frequently asked questions

To schedule a consultation on the AV equipment in your classroom, email classhelp@utah.edu. This will generate a ticket in our system, and someone will contact you to schedule a time for our support staff to meet you in the classroom.

If you need to report an issue with the AV equipment in your classroom, call 801-581-6112 (option 1) or fill out this form.

All general access classrooms have an HDMI input available to connect to classroom AV equipment. Connection cables are typically not available in the classroom.

Instructors should plan on bringing an HDMI cable with them to their classrooms. HDMI cables can be checked out for the semester free of charge from the Faculty Center, located in MLIB 1705. Depending on the connection interface available on the instructor's laptop, an HDMI adapter may be needed. These can be also be checked out from the Faculty Center. All general access classrooms feature an Airmedia system for wireless presentation. How to connect to Airmedia.
